Okay,no one ahs read these books, but I REALLY want to RP them,so I figure that if I describe enough,people can easily get the hang of it. It's not hard at all and will be loads of fun once it does get started. SO in the following posts you'll see places, chastes,and powers. I'll make another thread for an intro post and such. Yay! So much fun. Mythologies of the books: The first is the Darkness. It is the literal absence of light, the darkness associated with fertile soil, as well as the primordial chaos from which life emerges and ultimately returns. The second is Witch or rather Dreams Made Flesh. Witch is constantly reincarnated in various forms through out the history of the blood. Her form is magicaly fashioned from the dreams of the blood in order for Witch to provide for the needs of the "dreamers". In the case of Jaenelle as Witch, she was fashioned from the dreams of all the Blood. The next is Mother Night, mostly used as an expression of shock, she seems to be a female archetype for the blood - some sort of manifestation of the Darkness.

Places: Don't be intimidated by the long list! Most of these won't be used- it's mainly for referencing character sheets. Alright. In this Universe the 'world' is three dimensions. They pretty much have the same landmarks in most of them,but the worlds are diffrent. The only way to get through to other worlds is via 'gates'. These are sacred areas of magic where a pristess (and only a priestess) can light candles,utter a spell,and open the portals to the other realms.
Terrielle This is the realm which is most like Earth. It is the land of the living, and is commonly referred to as the "Ligth Realm".
Hayll - Home of the Hundred Families. It's capital is Draega. Hayll is the largest territory. Chaillot - Island Territory. It's capital is Beldon Mor. Dhemlan - Exists in all three Realms. Formerly ruled by Saetan SaDiablo. Askavi - A mountainous Territory which is the home of the Keep. It exists in all three Realms. Home of Witch. It has long since been resulted to ruins since the death of Jaenelle Angelline. Pruul - A desert Territory. Has many salt mines that slaves labor in in disasterous conditions. Ruins of SaDiablo Hall - A former home of Saetan SaDiablo.
Kaeleer- The Shadow Realm This realm isn't as bright as Terrielle, giving an ethereal appearence to it's wilderness. It contains many territories that have closed off it's borders since the demise of Witch as well as many kindred territories (see races post...)
Arachna - Territory ruled by golden Kindred spiders. They are all natrual Blackwidows. Their Queen is the Weaver of Dreams. Arceria - Closed Territory ruled by large Kindred cats. Askavi - A mountainous Territory which is the home of the Keep at Ebon Askavi, as well as the Khaldharon Run. It exists in all three Realms. Home of Witch. Centauran - Closed Territory ruled by centaurs. Dea al Mon - Closed Territory,home to the Dea al Mon Dharo - Open Territory. Dhemlan - Exists in all three Realms. The capital is Amdarh. Fyreborn Islands -Closed Territory ruled by the "little dragons" Kindred cousins of the Dragons. Glacia - A wintery Territory. Little Terreille - A territory located at the gate between Kaeleer and Terreille by immigrants to Kaeleer.The capital is Goth. Nharkhava - The Capital is Tajrana Pandar - Closed Territory of the Satyrs. Philan - Closed Territory of fairies. SaDiablo Hall - The home of Saetan SaDiablo, it exists in all the Dhemlan Territories. Scelt - TheThe capital is Tuathal. Sceval -Closed Territory ruled by Kindred unicorns. Tigrelan - Closed Territory ruled by the Tigres
Hell Hell - The Dark Realm
This is the realm of the dead, where the demons live. They become Demon-Dead when they are killed,but their jewel still has enough power to prevent them from dying off completely. They cannot stand light and live in Hell (which isn't like the Christain hell) until their jewel burn itself off and they fade 'into the darkness'.
Harpy Territory - Territory controlled by the Harpies, witches who have died a violent death at the hands of the male blood. Cildru Dyathe Island - The territory where blood children go when they become demon dead. Dhemlan - Exists in all three Realms. Askavi - A mountainous Territory which is the home of the Keep. It exists in all three Realms. Home of Witch. SaDiablo Hall - The home of Saetan SaDiablo, it exists in all the Dhemlan Territories.
Non-Physical Places The Twisted Kingdom - The psychological and mystical realm of the insane. Those who have lost their minds are said to be lost in the Twisted Kingdom. The Abyss - The psychological and mystical realm from which the blood derive their power. When the blood descend to their levels of power, they descend towards the Abyss. Witch spirals towards the Abyss, and also orginates from there

Races Challoit- People from Challot have lighter hair/skin color than Dhemlans or Hayllians. They live to be 100-125 years old.
Dhemlans and Hayllians- Are basically the same, only Hayllians are 'prettier' than the slightly rough Dhemlans. Both live to be 4500-5000 years old,and have dark skin and dark hair.
Eryiens-Long-lived as well. They are a warrior race and are well-versed as mercenaries and are trained in a variety of weapons. They have wings (membranous bat wings) and love the sky and flying.
Kindred- Humanoids aren't the only ones blessed with the Jewels. Animals have it as well. Any jeweled creature is just as intelligent and powerful as a human with the jewel. However, humans are stupid so many of these creatures keep to themselves and their kind.
Guardians- Very few guardians! Guardians live for almost all eternity and come from any race to guard a Dark Alter (where prayers are given and Gates opened). Somewhat like a guardian of a temple the greeks and japanese have. They choose to take this place after death,living for almost all eternity.
Closed Races- Any closed territoy woul dbe best not to have a character as. being closed means that they have decided to cose off their territories to the point that many people don't even believe they exist.

Chastes and SpellsThis universe is primarily matriarchal (sp). Sorry guys. Members of various races in the three realms who are infused with magic are know as the Blood. In the case of non-humanraces they are known as Kindred. The Blood are further divided by sex, social class, and caste. There are generally, but not strictly, two or three social classes. They are hearth witches, merchants, and aristos(aristocrats). They are distinguished pimarily by how they use their power. Hearth witches focus on the home, merchants on their trades, and aristos on rulership. The following is a list of the Bloods castes in descending order of rank: Males: Warlord Prince - A male member of the Blood higher in rank than a Prince but lower than a Queen. Often hot-tempered and violent, need females to help curb this. Often bond themselves to one queen or lover protectivly. Prince - A male member of the Blood equal in rank to a Priestess or Healer. Warlord - A male member of the Blood. Females: Queen - The heart of the land and the focus of the Bloods society. The highest rank among the blood. Priestess - Witches who care for altars, dark altars, and preside over marriages as well as offerings to the Darkness. Equal in rank to a Healer or Prince. Healer - Witches with a natural talent and skill for medicines and healing. Equal in rank to a Priestess or Prince. Black Widow - Witches who wield the power of dreams, visions, and poisons. Lower in rank then a Queen and Warlord Prince, but higher then Healers/Princes/Priestess. Witch - A female member of the Blood. SpellsSpells are generally just types of magic they can use. -Telepathy- telepathy is sending thoughts,obviously. these can be specified by gender (spear thread being sent only to males and distaff to females),or jewel rank. You can send thoughts to only certain colors just so long as they are of your rank or lower. Naturally, you can also send them to everyone or just one person. Vanishing Cabinets- kind of like a cabinet of goods that you can carry with you without actually carryign them. The higher your jewel, the bigger your cabinet and the more you can carry. There are other things,of course, but it pretty much varies depending on strength and creativity. Telekinesis,explosions,etc.

Jewels Each member of the Blood is gifted with a Birthright Jewel. Through the Offering of Birthright jewels to the Darkness, they can earn jewels up to three levels darker. Tapping into these deeper or darker resevoirs is called "descending" (eg. Birthright White could descend to Rose; darker stones allow for more potent magic. The Blood can channel magic without possessing a stone, but their jewels store reservoirs of power not otherwise available to them.
The darker a Jewel the more power it holds which in turn can be used by its wearer.
White Yellow Tiger Eye Rose Sumer-sky Purple Dusk Opal* Green Sapphire Red Gray Ebon-gray Black Note:Opal is the dividing line between darker and lighter jewels because it can be either.
Birthright Ceremony- At age 5-8, people go to a Dark Altar and meditate to 'descend' to their birthright power. When they open their eyes, there is a jewel on the altar if they are strong enough to have one.
Offering to the Darkness- Made at age 15-21 (pretty much just whenever someone is ready). Same as the birthright. Your jewel can descend up to three colors darker to the power that you will have for the rest of ever unless you are broken.
Broken-Someone whose jewel is shattered so that they have no power.

Hundreds of centuries ago, the Blood were suffering. All the dark bloodlines were dying out and people were being forced to submit to an evil leader. The kindred were thought to be myths,as many of them closed their territories to humans,killing anyone who approached. Similarly, all realms but the one of Light were thought to be mythological.
Until the coming of Jaenelle Angelline,the embodiment of Witch. She was what all the Blood had wished for,someone to unite them all and banish the Evil Taint. And she did. She and her family, the Guardian-Father or her, Satan and her husband, Daemon Sadi, managed to dispell this and bring about millenia of peace.
But now, thousands of years after her death, she is seena s no more than a great historical figure. People have forgotten the immense power she had- thousands times more power were held in her Ebony jewels than in tens of Black jewels.
Now,the Kindred have retired back into their colonies and again people have forgotten them. Again, the world is being tainted by a Sapphire-jeweled ruler, the Queen Sulmantha, who is detirmined to rule all three realms by getting rid of any competition she may have in any place.
But a group of people are gathering at what used to be Ebon Askavi,the Black Mountain and throne of the long-deceased Jaenelle Angelline who can together restore peace to the realms once more...

Name: Rhaine "Rhae" Benedict Age: 17 years Chaste:Witch Birthright Jewel: White Post-Offering Jewel: Not taken Race: Challiot Looks:her hair is a rusty red-brown and long,falling wel pasther shoulders. Her eyes are a deep brown and skin a light tan. Rhae is more of an average looking person, not too pretty and not too ugly. Just average in everything,build,height, and looks. Personality: She is extremly bright. She is of the lightest jewel rank,but still takes Advanced classes with darker jewels,with the exception of Craft (magic) classes. She is quiet,but very bold and feels a need to prove to the Darker Jewels in her school that she belongs in class with them. Place of Origin: Terrielle History:Lives with her parents, a green-jeweled healer and an opal-jeweled warlord for all of her live. Attend school. Pretty boring stuff. nothing interesting has really happened.

Name: Samalli (Sam) Portan Age: 17 Gender: Female Chaste: Witch Race: Eryien Birthright Jewel: Opal (cos it is, seriously. October = Opal) Post-Offering Jewel: ...not obvious to me. What do you mean? Looks: Dark shoulder-length hair, usually tied back tightly so it doesn't flop in her face. Her eyes are somewhat cat-like in their shape, though without the slit-pupils, and are a greeny-grey. She has a narrow face, sharp and watchful looking. The bat-wings are usually folded neatly against her back. Her clothing is fairly bland, and more practical than anything. A shirt, long pants, comfortable and hardy shoes. Personality: A bit of a dreamer, which has gotten her ito trouble before. Friendly and a joker, though it's more of a sarcastic humour. Can be perceptive and quick-witted once she drags her head out of the clouds. Place of Origin: Terrielle History: *Stares blankly*I dunno...was born, still lives. I'll make it up as I go along?

Offering...you know that a birthright jewel gives a person their original jewel, but later in life (around mid teens to early twenties) they go through the same process and get gifted with another jewel. Basically,they have two jewels,therefore two levels of strength. For instance, your Opal jewel cuold raise to a red when your character makes the offering.
History is cool. *shrug* Mine was pretty simple,too.
