I finally got them all! Here 'tis:
The Best of Mew

Royal in the Afternoon is an unusual song for the artist, the Whitlams, as it has a lot more guitar and a lot less piano, in stark contrast to Breathing You In. It best suits Mew when he sits behind me, making comments from my bed as I play on my computer, as this is when he is most talkative and most sardonic.
Quote: "Words of a drunk Fade with the light/Satan delivers And the goods are alright".
Suitability: 4/5
Mew's Rating: 4/5 -- My favourite song, closely followed I Will Not Go Quietly (Duffy's Song) and Band on Every Corner.

This song reflects the affectionate, peaceful side of Mew's often harsh and solitary nature. It is comprised of soft, lilting piano and Tim Freedman's gentle voice. It more suits Mew when he is asleep or very happy and relaxed.
Quote: "I'm awake, You sleep on and on/When you wake My head is resting on your shoulder/I'm breathing you in, I'm breathing you in".
Suitability: 4/5
Mew's Rating: Very slow and ... not sad, but very, very slow. I usually consider it rather sappy, though I do get in moods in which it is my very favourite song. It's helpful for relaxing and sleeping, as it's so quiet.

Gone Surfing is a sliding, carefree song with very few lyrics and a lot of in-depth music, quite unique among Whitlams songs (though Fall For You comes close). It is neither energetic nor sleepy, a very good image of the old-fashioned Australian middle state.
Quote: "Gone surfing/Tell the world I'm out".
Suitability: 3/5
Mew's Rating: 2.5/5 -- It's a great song, I really love it, but it's a rare time when it is my absolute favourite. I love the quote from it.

This is a song with a vengeance. It is almost spitefully angry, devastated by loss. The lyrics suggest a funeral, and the anger of the writer at how quickly everyone moves on. In the period in which Mew became alienated from me (just before settling), I listened to this song obssessively.
Quote: "On the high ground You're on your own/From the high ground You see the mourners have gone home".
Suitability: 1/5
Mew's Rating: 2.5/5 -- Also a good song, but not a favourite. It fitted me only once thus far and not again as of yet. But worth remembering.
img.villagephotos.com/p/2006-3/1158033/CriesTooHard.jpg
Originally Cries Too Hard was not going to be included, but the other Mew pictures (I Will Not Go Quietly (Duffy's Song), Band on Every Corner, Made Me Hard, Make the World Safe, Melbourne, etc.) were too hard to illustrate, did not get well-drawn, did not suit enough or Mew ruled out himself. This picture mainly emphasizes my recent triumph in becoming goth.
Quote: "Feather scratches On her wrists/Dry run With a bread knife/For a Final twist/It wouldn't be for show If it should come to this".
Suitability: 0/5
Mew's Rating: 3/5 -- I like this song. It's just not a song that suits me. It is, however, extremely good, one of the best songs of the Whitlams. Jory likes the above quote, but I personally like "Torch the moon; Burn the schools/Why's it a man Making all the rules?" XD
Thanks for visiting, and reading (if you read). Turrah! <Byez.>
